With training tracking software, you can easily organize your training and your employees will get reminder emails when they haven’t completed a lesson.

With an easily accessible and viewable list of who hasn’t completed a lesson, you can personally reach out much faster than a large email list confirming people either received or didn’t read regarding the PDF you sent earlier last week. The problem with the completion stage is the only way you know your employees didn’t truly understand the content of the lesson is if they directly tell you.


Taking your training management software to the next level requires a little more elbow grease, but the insight into lessons is well worth the upfront effort. The comprehension stage of training tracking includes both quantitative and qualitative questions and evaluation of your training regularly. If your employees are failing to understand parts of your training, the comprehension stage is where you will start to notice. You may notice that you slipped in a few trick questions into courses without realizing it or you asked questions that weren’t necessarily relevant to the lesson or sections beforehand.

Moving from the completion to the comprehension stage ensures that all of the intended and necessary information is being conveyed correctly and accurately. The comprehension stage is a great stage to end up in for medium sized teams who might not have a dedicated representative for training, learning, or development. But, larger teams may want to dive more in-depth into training and discover their ROI according to how much they are spending on training relative to how much production value they are gaining out of their employees or how much time they are saving without all of their training meetings, lectures, conferences, and updates of the olden days.
